Dessert... yes, with two s's

Only a few things feel as good as having dessert at the end of a good meal. I'm lactose intolerant, which means, strictly speaking I'm not suppose to have most Desserts, but because i love you, i will defy all restrictions and go try them out for you (thank me later).
Lets dig in...

CRUMBS AND CREAM

I remember first seeing an ice-cream/cookie sandwich on instagram and I knew that one day ill have to have it. It’s an idea that makes sense but is not yet popular, so I decided to head to crumbs and cream in Cavendish.
THIS WAS THE MOMENT I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR. I picked red velvet and brownie cookies, with a single scoop of oreo ice-cream in the middle; I know you’re drooling now, I don’t blame you.
My dessert sandwich was tasty; the ice-cream is sufficiently flavoured and the cookies taste good. Im sure we’ve all been wondering if you could eat it like a sandwich, and you actually can. See, the cookies are soft enough for you to bite into them, but beware of that ice-cream brain freeze. I enjoyed it but it wasn’t out of this world. it’s a normal cookie and ice-cream combination. I’d recommend this for people with a really sweet tooth; if your taste for sugar is watered down you’ll find yourself lying down from the sugar high.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, and you can have a taste of each ice-cream before you commit to your sandwich. Have fun !

ROCOMAMA'S FREAK SHAKES

Price: R35

So...Rocomamas' freakshakes have been screaming at me for a while now; In my facebook timeline, my instagram, and I'd mention a third social media platform if I had one lol. The foodie in me was curious about this so on my daddy's birthday, I decided to go try it out with him.

In the ads, the freakshake lives up to the name. It is chocolaty, creamy, colourful, caramelly(if there's such a word), and you could just lick your screen. So when we finally got our death by chocolate freak shake, the size was 25% smaller than what's advertised... I felt deceived.

So now we got to the tasting. The milk shake is at the bottom and there's whipped cream and chocolate balls on top. The whole thing is of course, drizzled with chocolate sauce. Death by chocolate indeed! it is delicious, sweet and flavourful. I shared it with my dad and we were both full by the end of it. So the size is, after all, just right!

I have to also applaud Rocomama's for their incredible presentation and great staff! So go get freaky with your freak shakes!
